Gamrovia reviews video games for players and families in the UK. We only write about games we have played properly, over many evenings. Every survey log gives a typical session, a return point where the game is easy to put down, who can talk to you, what it sells once you are playing, comfort notes and who it suits.
Deck 02Why a star chart?
Because choosing a game for the evening is a little like plotting a course: some worlds are a short hop, others a long voyage, and the trip is only good if you get home in time. Putting every game on one chart, with its usual session as the orbit, makes that choice honest before anyone presses start.
Deck 03Who writes the reviews
A small crew of long-time players, from exploration and puzzle games to hard action, farming and party games, alongside parents who try the family controls on each platform we mention.
Deck 04How the site is funded
Not by anyone in the games business. There are no adverts, affiliate links, sponsored reviews or products for sale. We host no games, run no accounts and take no payments.
Deck 05Conflicts of interest
If a reviewer has a personal or professional link to a game or a studio, someone else reviews it and the log says so. We accept no gifts, trips or early access in exchange for coverage.
Deck 06The artwork
Every picture of a game’s world is an original illustration made for this site in that game’s own visual style. None of it is official artwork, a screenshot or a real person. Our orbit logo is our own.
Deck 07Why UK English?
British spelling, UK age labels and UK support services. No pop-ups, no autoplaying video or sound and no tracking.
